The Croydon Enterprise programme is about helping local people to regenerate our borough. We are supporting entrepreneurship – backing people who want to start and grow businesses. This is a powerful tool for regenerating our most deprived areas.
We can help people find suitable premises to start up, we provide training and support, we have a finance programme … we are providing support at every stage of a business’ development.
Take a look at what we offer:
The Croydon Enterprise programme was developed after an extensive consultation with local people and businesses. It is a partnership between the council, businesses and many local organisations from the public, private and voluntary sectors.

To ensure that we reach all sections of our target communities, we have broken the programme down into manageable proportions – these are our DELIVERY THEMES. Details of the projects within these themes have been developed by Croydon business people, and other professionals.

Our target areas are those of highest deprivation in the borough. The programme includes additional programmes to target key groups that suffer particular economic disadvantage, such as lone parents, people with disabilities and people from BME communities.
