Tony Kildare – Chief Executive of Croydon Economic Development Company Ltd
Tony Kildare is the Chief Executive of the new Croydon Economic Development Company (CEDC). The CEDC is an independent private sector-led company - the lead delivery body for the borough's Economic Development Strategy.
Tony comes from global professional services firm Ernst & Young, where he was Director for the Government and Public Sector business.
Tony has previously held positions as the Chief Executive of the EDC Renaissance South Yorkshire, Executive Director of Economic Development of East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA), and Head of Enterprise and Skills for Scottish Enterprise.
He was the Director of the Cox Review of Creativity in Business which addressed how UK businesses can meet the challenges of an increasingly competitive business environment. He chaired the RDA (Regional Development Agency) Enterprise Directors' Forum and has a business background in tourism, leisure, entertainment, manufacturing and financial services.
