Credit Union Enterprise Loans & Capacity Building
Croydon Enterprise is funding a local credit union, Croydon Savers, to offer business development loans from £251-£2,000.
Credit unions are a great alternative for people who aren’t able to get a normal bank loan. They are cooperatives loaning money for the good of the community they serve. To be eligible you will need to set up an account with the credit union and be able to present a realistic business proposal. This initiative is also designed to capacity build local credit unions to offer a business finance element to their services.
Loans are available for:
- starting and developing your business
- launching new products
- diversifying into new services
- business launches and promotion
Alongside the loan, Croydon Enterprise will be able to offer you advice and guidance about how to spend the money wisely, in the best interests of your enterprise.
