Financial support for local enterprise (Ladder of Finance)

Nearly all new businesses need finance to get them started. Whether it’s a poor credit rating or because you haven’t got a watertight business plan, there are lots of reasons why a traditional bank loan is not always an option.

To help local entrepreneurs access the funding they need, Croydon Enterprise has assembled a ladder of finance. This ladder is made up of rungs or funding ‘pots’, and each has been designed for people at different stages in their enterprise. Whether you need funds to simply test the water with a new product or service, start your business, or grow an existing one, you may be eligible for one of the following:

Test-trading grants

Credit Union Enterprise Loans & Capacity Building

Finance for Enterprise

If you want further information on any of these schemes, or you’re unsure about what type of funding is best for you, call the Croydon Enterprise Business Hotline on 020 8680 6161.
